Summary: The Trade Compliance Coordinator owns and maintains daily activities for assigned territories to ensure timely and compliant shipments. Knowledgeable in export compliance. Ensures the efficient flow of orders/shipping.Review orders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Denied party screening.Creation of export-related documentation.Collaborate internally and externally to facilitate documentation requirements and customer shipment information.Communicate to internal/external stakeholders on export transactions.Status of export transactions.Coordination of freight collection.Review export transactions to ensure that all parties to the transaction, including the end user and end use of the product, meet U.S. Export Administration Regulations and OFAC requirements. Files export license applications as required.Monitor progress and expedite special orders covered by secured means of payment to ensure timely completion.Advise customers and sales organization on export restrictions and customer-related matters.Partner with Goulds Sales personnel and agents to proactively address outstanding commercial issues on export orders, such as obtaining end-use statements, resolving issues with Letters of Credit, cash in advance payments, escalation of progress billing payments, receipt of shipping instructions and shipment/documentation requirements, and suggesting approved alternative business solutions when appropriate.Build relationships with Goulds vendors, such as Freight Forwarders and U.S.A. Banks, to ensure compliance with requirements of customers and Goulds Pumps.Create documents to facilitate export/transportation with accuracy to ensure both customer and company requirements are met.Qualifications:
Required Experience:Awareness of Department of Commerce, Census, and U.S. Treasury Department regulations as applied to International Trade.1-3 years of experience dealing with International Business.Working knowledge of International commercial terms and INCO terminology.Working knowledge of SAP preferred but not required.Education:BS degree in Business Administration or equivalent related experience.
