Our client is currently seeking highly motivated and energetic people to join their team as an
Sr. Quality Assurance Manager . An ideal candidate would have a background in the automotive industry or defense applications.The Quality Assurance Manager develops and leads a Quality Assurance system to assure that manufacturing processes will produce products that meet required Product Standards as described in AS9100 and Quality Assurance Manual.Responsibilities:Manage QA Team:
Supervise, train, and appraise QA personnel. Schedule and track activities for efficiency.Maintain Standards:
Interpret and uphold quality standards. Develop procedures and promote preventive systems.Ensure Compliance:
Implement inspection procedures and review supplier quality issues.Address Non-Conformance:
Identify root causes, measure costs, and coordinate corrective actions.Collaborate:
Work with customers, engineering, and operations to improve processes.Regulatory Adherence:
Ensure compliance with industry standards and conduct audits.Develop Teams and Ensure Safety:
Build relationships, develop high-performance teams, and promote workplace safetyQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field7+ years of experience with preventive Quality Systems or equivalent military experience3+ years of supervisory experience in Quality Systems15+ years in manufacturing or relevant military experiencePreferred ASQ Certifications: CQE, CQM, CRE, or CSSBB2+ years with NADCAP requirement
