Job Summary:
The Vice President of Franchise Development will lead franchise development efforts for all brands within the Xponential Fitness portfolio. The VP of Franchise Development is responsible for all franchise sales activity related to the recruitment of new franchisees for new territory development and resale studio opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver annual growth goals for the Franchise Sales Team.
Analyze pipeline and lead data, delivering periodic reporting to leadership and marketing teams providing key business insights.
Work closely with the marketing department to ensure a healthy pipeline of qualified franchise candidates.
Manage sales metrics including key selling milestones, new sale units, and EBITDA targets.
Identify and solve complex business questions using data/analytics capabilities to enhance business performance.
Remain on the cutting edge of new ideas for franchise development and customer engagement.
Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
Host candidates/clients for formal or informal meetings.
Manage territories across multiple brands in the Buxton platform.
Communicate with franchise prospects about territory options and demographic data.
Build relationships with franchise consultant networks and respond to territory checks.
Travel to headquarters and attend trade/broker shows.
Communicate and work effectively with the President, external contacts, and internal departments.
Maintain confidentiality of personal information.
Interface with others in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
8-15 years’ experience in sales and development with proven success in meeting and exceeding targets.
Proven success sourcing and closing organic, paid & broker leads with success in a minimum of 20 franchise deals a year.
Ability to set clear metrics in semi-annual planning and meet or exceed goals.
Ability to build strong relationships with potential and existing franchisees.
A creative problem solver who is highly driven and will refuse to miss their sales targets.
A hands-on leader with the ability to work in an entrepreneurial and ambiguous environment.
Experience in a multi-brand franchise platform or service-based franchisor is preferred.
Passion for understanding the product, business, and competitive landscape.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize work to meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor’s Degree.
