Department OverviewThe Marketing and Inside Sales Operations/Strategy department assists the marketing and inside sales management teams with strategic initiatives, data analysis, upper level management presentations, and ad hoc operational requests.
Job DescriptionThe Marketing and Inside Sales Data Analyst position reports to the VS&A Marketing and Inside Sales Operations/Strategy Manager and will support the various data analysis and reporting needs that arise. In addition to supporting the VS&A Marketing and Inside Sales Operations/Strategy Manager, this role will support the digital/growth marketing team with campaign optimization.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform ad hoc analysis and data modeling to support strategic initiatives.
Assist in integration activities of new acquisitions as needed.
Assist Finance in analyzing financial and operation results to understand business performance.
Analyze promotion results and use the data to develop strategies to make them more successful.
Analyze complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight/develop strategy and present to decision-makers.
Produce datasets and reports for analysis in order to drive optimization.
Use customer data to develop targeted call lists for our Sales Development team within Inside Sales.
Bring expertise or identify subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience supporting sales and/or marketing.
Excel/Google Sheets master.
Financial analysis and financial modeling experience.
2+ years of working within Salesforce.
2+ years of experience working within a data visualization tool (Tableau, Google Looker Studio, Salesforce Dashboards).
2+ years of SQL experience.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Detail oriented and well-organized.
Excellent communications skills.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's Degree.
1+ years of financial analysis and/or financial modeling experience.
