Summary
We welcome an experienced and diligent Regulatory & Compliance Manager to contribute to House of Cheatham through the responsibilities listed below. The role reports to the Technical Director and confidently collaborates cross-functionally to build and drive the regulatory strategy.
Serves as an authority on raw material, product, labeling, claims and packaging information from a regulatory perspective
Leads the organization in operating in compliance with global regulatory bodies and guidelines
Maintains awareness of the dynamic regulatory landscape and advises the organization on potential risks and threats for existing and future products
Liaises with internal and external parties to deliver on outputs such as domestic & global product registrations, expert guidance, ingredient & finished-product review and resources
Prepares required product documentation such as SDSs, PIFs, ingredient statements, etc.
Reviews all product artwork and promotional materials for accuracy and compliance
Keeps organized and accurate records of product registrations, certificates and other important documentation in our internal database
Completes all other tasks as requested
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant scientific field
5 years of regulatory experience in the cosmetic/personal care industry
Solid understanding of domestic & international regulations and practices pertaining to cosmetic/personal care ingredients and products
Familiarity with notification streams such as EU CPNP, Health Canada CNF and UKCP
Competency in MS Office Suite and various regulatory software and databases
Analytical thinker capable of assessing threats, risks and opportunities with the ability to communicate complex regulatory matters to a diverse group of professionals
Willingness to work in office 2 days per week in Stone Mountain, GA
