In this role, you will be responsible for conducting government-provided shipboard test procedures and documenting test completion and discrepancies.This position can be located in Norfolk, VA, San Diego, CA, Chesapeake, VA, Washington, DC, or Cherry Hill, NJ. This role is contingent upon contract award.What You Will Do
Report to the Test Operations LeadEnsure all resource requirements are in place to properly execute each test eventAssist in the coordination of sea trial testing including training participants on respective test procedures and reviewing status of test resultsConduct shipboard testing according to government furnished test proceduresInform the ATO/ATM of test related issues and requirementsAssist Government Test Director/Lead in coordinating successful completion of all Combat Systems Test eventsEnsure that all test, training, and operational event reports are collected from their respective team leaders and test results are promptly reportedWhat You Must Have
Strongly prefer a Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) in the relevant field and 10+ years of experience as a Test Director or Test Lead for Naval or Combat System program(s) or equivalent experience (or 15+ years of experience without a degree).Over two (2+) years direct experience in the engineering, installation and/or operation of the Aegis Combat System onboard US Navy ships or Aegis Ashore.A demonstrated ability to work across the Navy/Marine Corps major stakeholder organizations and an understanding of the relationships between NAVSEA, PEO IWS and the Fleet Commands is required.A US DoD Secret security clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI is required.US Citizenship is required.9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.Bonus Points For...
