The Sr. Project Management Consultant is responsible for leading consulting engagements, addressing strategic client needs while managing the execution, timeline and budget of the project. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in business process improvement, IT strategy, and business transformation. To put it plainly, we're seeking a consultant who has experience implementing projects from end to end, managing the plan, budget, timeline and reporting to the stakeholders.
Additionally, this role delivers tailored solutions that ensure successful client outcomes and aligns with business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead consulting engagements, serving as the primary advisor on business and technical challenges.
Conduct in-depth assessments of client environments, providing actionable insights to drive business improvements.
Develop and implement tailored solutions that address specific client challenges, ensuring that solutions align with business objectives.
Design and implement solutions that align with client goals, addressing specific challenges.
Act as a subject matter expert, advising on industry best practices and emerging trends.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to help clients understand complex business or technical concepts.
Engage in business process re-engineering or technical solution design, guiding the client through decision-making and execution.
Oversee projects to ensure they remain on track regarding timelines, budget and deliverables, stepping into project management as needed.
Mentor junior consultants, fostering the development of their consulting and technical skills.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
PMP or Agile certification a plus.
Experience
Customarily has at least 5 years of consulting experience, with a strong focus on delivering solutions for clients.
Extensive experience in business or IT consulting, with the ability to manage both strategy and execution.
Proven ability to lead strategic consulting engagements from analysis to implementation. Consulting experience includes business analysis, discovery, requirement gathering, etc.
Project management experience includes planning and managing the budget, timelines, status delivery and managing the project stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement solutions that meet client needs, while offering strategic advice on business or technical challenges.
Project management skills to handle project-related responsibilities as needed.
Proficiency in consulting methodologies.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).

Salary RangeThe following information is required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of Colorado. The anticipated starting pay range for Denver, Colorado applicants for this role is $118,770.70-$147,907.79 with a median of $133,054.37. Actual compensation is impacted by a number of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, specific work locations and any potential licenses and certifications required for that role.
The following information is required by the California Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of California. The anticipated starting pay range for Irvine, California applicants for this role is $126,019.07-$156,935.30 with a median of $141,175.19. Actual compensation is impacted by a number of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, specific work locations and any potential licenses and certifications required for that role.
