Unit 3 - CFA - California Faculty Association, Tenured/Tenure-Track, Full Time, Faculty - EngineeringPosition OverviewThe Computer Science and Software Engineering Department at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo is inviting applications for a full-time, academic year, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank beginning Fall 2025.The successful candidate will be expected to:Teach undergraduate and master's level courses.Support and expand curricular development in Computer Science and Software Engineering.Pursue research in their area of expertise.Provide service to the department, university, and community.Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Anticipated hiring range: $110,250 – $123,500 per year.Cal Poly is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in its recruitment and hiring processes.Minimum QualificationsAn earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
