Our state-of-the-art facility is a hub for efficient and accurate order processing, shipping, and inventory management. We are looking to find a motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our day-to-day operations.Position Overview
As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations, focusing on safety, employee accountability, performance management, training, and meeting daily shipping quotas. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining high quality and efficiency. Cross-functional teams include sales, customer experience, and procurement departments.Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Operations
Direct and coordinate all warehouse activities, including order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, returns, and inventory management, to meet daily shipping quotas and brand expectations.Safety
Monitor, train, and enforce strict adherence to safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations to create a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety audits and address any potential hazards promptly.Employee Accountability
Lead, motivate, and guide a team of warehouse associates by setting clear performance expectations, monitoring work quality, and addressing performance issues through coaching, training, and corrective actions.Performance Management
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time shipping, and productivity. Take proactive measures to improve operational efficiency and consistently meet performance targets.Training
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new and existing employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively and safely.Quality Control
Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure accurate order fulfillment, proper packing, and minimal errors in customer shipments.Inventory Management
Collaborate with inventory teams to monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and address discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.Process Improvement
Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and streamlining to enhance operational efficiency and reduce fulfillment times.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to address customer inquiries, resolve order-related issues, and provide support in aligning warehouse operations with overall business goals.Documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily operations, employee performance, safety incidents, and inventory levels.Reports and Communication
Prepare regular reports on operational performance, employee metrics, and other relevant data for management review. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred) in a related field.Proven experience (X+ years) in warehouse operations, preferably within e-commerce or 3PL fulfillment centers.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team of warehouse associates.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.Sound knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Forklift certification and other relevant equipment operation certifications are a plus.Join Our Team
