with experience for the Honolulu office to perform design for waterfront structures and marine infrastructure projects, including marinas, vessel mooring and berthing structures, bulkheads, breakwater, and shore protection structures. The ideal candidate has 6-10 years of experience working from conceptual layout through the design process. Experience with, or working toward, Project Management is a plus.About Moffatt & Nichol:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; requiredMaster's degree in Structural Engineering; preferredHawaii Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain PE through reciprocity within 6 months; requiredHawaii Structural Engineer (SE) license or be able to obtain within 1 year through reciprocity or testing; preferred6-10 years of experience in Marine structural engineering design and project management with a consulting firm or marine-related client; preferredDOD structural engineering project experience; requiredGood communication skills and ability to work with a team approachAll new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post-offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171Moffatt & Nichol uses E-Verify and employment is contingent upon the legal ability to obtain employment in the U.S. and to present the required documentation at hireBase salary range:
$120,000 to $150,000 based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting required qualifications in job description.Note:
Base salary range only applicable for candidates who will be hired and working in the Hawaii markets.Working conditions:
