St Petersburg, FL (Hybrid Schedule)Job Summary:This role will support new development for our Securities Center application suite and will build the front end for fixed income, corporate actions, and mutual funds applications. The candidate will be involved in portions of the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Analyzes system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and sub-systems.May make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.May recommend new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems, and exploiting opportunities.Participates in software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.Provides technical advice and assists in solving programming problems.Ensures proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage.Work on bug resolution and application improvements, such as performance and maintainability.Participate actively in discussions, presentations, and decisions about front-end development and application design.May occasionally work a non-standard shift, including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.Qualifications:Experience and Skills:

Angular developer who can design and build a streamlined application to company specifications.3-5 years of experience writing complex front-end applications using Angular or similar frameworks.In-depth understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate is preferred.Participates in assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance.Extensive knowledge of theoretical software engineering.

Education/Previous Experience:Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree; 3-5 years of relevant experience. May have one or more technical or business-related certifications.
