Devoted to Youth hosts the Rancho Peñasquitos Farmers Market every Thursday. The proceeds of the market go toward charities that support families and children, as well as food/donation drives. Devoted to Youth needs volunteers to run the market as smoothly as possible so that their small staff team can focus on making it a bigger weekly market.
Volunteers are needed to help with setting up, breaking down, and running the event.Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes
Attire:
Comfortable clothing and a jacket as it will get chilly. This opportunity takes place outdoors with plenty of shade.Bring:
Water. Devoted to Youth will provide food and non-alcoholic drinks.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 40 lbs. This project is able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations and the space where this project takes place is wheelchair accessible.Waiver:
Minors are required to complete the Devoted to Youth waiver.Weather:
This is a rain or shine market, but it will close if the weather gets too bad.Note:
