Millwork Territory Manager- pay dependent on experience
BPI is hiring a Millwork Territory Manager. This position is primarily responsible for acquiring Millwork Accounts. As you manage your contacts, you will be responsible for communicating with potential customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You also need to be able to close the sales and meet targets. To be successful, you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. This is a sales minded role with production goals and clear targets. In this role you will partner with our inside sales team to ensure mutual success.
General duties include, but are not limited to:Responsible for the sale of the complete product line within the geographic areaMaintain current business and identify new opportunities with current and new customer base including lumber dealers, co-ops and other distribution channels.Build business relationship with customer base to become their trusted industry expertQuick response to calls, questions and customer complaints with prompt follow thruWorking with management team and assigned inside sales to provide product, program and pricing strategies for customersEducate customers on new products or lines of current productsMonitor competition by gathering market info on pricing, products, logistics and programsTravel expectations approximately 50-70% of timeSkills & Qualifications:
A proven track record of sales success with a background in MillworkPassion for sales, outgoing, and comfortable meeting new customerDesire to work in a team atmosphereNegotiation and closing skillsExcel in customer service; have a friendly and positive attitudeAble to multi-task and prioritize in a very fast-paced sales environmentComputer experience and math skillsThree to five years' experience in sales is preferredComfortable working independently and with an inside sales teamBPI Benefits include:
