summary Manufacturing company in Chatsworth is looking for a temporary Document Control Clerk. Day Shift Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm Document Control Clerk / Duties and responsibilities: Manage and maintain all company documents. Ensure documents are easily accessible and properly stored. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the document management system. Work closely with Production Control Department and other various departments to ensure documents are up-to-date. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Other duties may include word processing, filing, faxing, answering phones, receiving and directing visitors, scheduling, financial record keeping, coordinating meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies and sorting/distributing mail, compiling and assembling information, creating and modifying reports, and composing basic correspondence. Delivers all incoming correspondence to the various operations departments. Electronically sorts and compiles text and numerical data, retrieving, updating, and merging documents as requiredGathers input from multiple authors and arranges the material to be formatted producing the required end-product (e.g., electronic deliverables, print, website delivery, ), following instructions from supervisor and customersAble to understand and assess level of effort required for each project and work within budget and scheduleReviews, audits, and tracks all product & process related records for verification & accuracySupport development and management of product BOM's & routings in MRP system (SAP).Maintain a comprehensive electronic engineering drawing and change control system, working in an electronic products fieldCollect and ensure that the system contains the latest version for all documents and obsolete documents are archived. required-skills: Minimum of 2 years as a Document Control Clerk Must be able to work overtime.
