Job Description:
The HR Generalist will provide administrative and human resources support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain more experience in the HR field at a company that promotes positive culture and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn, can think outside of the box, has a can-do attitude and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Job Requirements:
Coordinate new hire orientation program and conduct on-boarding activitiesTrack attendance. Maintain hours worked, paid time off, payroll changes within the databaseAssist with recruiting to include scheduling training and pre-employment physicalsMaintain employee files and records in electronic and paper formEngage with employees to develop transparent communicationParticipates in others special projects as assignedSkills/Specifications:
Detail orientated with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectivelyAbility to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidatesResourceful, creative thinking for searching and recruiting candidatesAbility to handle confidential information is essentialAbility to learn and continuously grow by gradually taking on additional responsibility and challengesEducation/Experience/Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED RequiredBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration preferredEnergetic and entrepreneurial approach and a strong attention to detailExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to minimally spend time on off shifts (2nd and 3rd shift) as neededExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in working within Learning Management SystemsWhat We Offer:
