Overview
The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in managing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and other HR activities to ensure a smooth and effective workforce environment within a manufacturing setting.
Job ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle recruiting, including posting jobs, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding;Act as a liaison between management and employees to address grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution;Promote positive workplace culture through engagement programs and communication efforts;Conduct investigations and recommend actions for employee relations issues, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures;Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, OSHA, and EEO regulations;Support managers with coaching, counseling, and developing employees to maximize performance;Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs, including onboarding, safety, and leadership development;Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and upskilling within the workforce;Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to align HR initiatives with business goals;Participate in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and projects;Perform other required tasks as assigned.Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required;At least five years of experience in human resources required within a manufacturing environment;PHR or SHRM certification preferred;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite as well as Microsoft Teams;Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment;Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally;Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus;Ability to work in a team environment.
