Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all.Title: FSO – Consulting – Tech Consulting – TSD – Life Insurance Technology Program Delivery – Manager: This position could be located in NY (primary), NC, PA, IL, OH, GA, MA.The opportunityOur Life Insurance Transformation practice is currently hiring for a Senior Manager Technology Consultant to advise our life insurance clients on transforming their life insurance, annuity, group benefits, and retirement operations and systems. This includes the transformation of business processes, systems, and technology improvements. In this role, you will help our clients achieve their desired goals and business objectives.Your key responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of one or more processes, solutions, and/or projects, ensuring a focus on quality and effective risk management. You will engage in continuous process improvement and identify innovative solutions through research, analysis, and best practices. Additionally, you will manage professional employees or supervise others to deliver complex technical initiatives, with accountability for performance and results.Managing large, multi-phase projects, communicate with and manage client expectations, build the project team, and manage scope, risk, budget, and timeline activitiesProviding high-level technology assessments, planning, recommendations, and project management with a focus on developing and achieving client goals and objectivesIdentifying key client risks and opportunities, determining client needs utilizing standard assessment techniques and toolsImplementing and overseeing the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performanceParticipating in business development and presentation of proposal activitiesProviding project status reporting, metrics, billing, and client progress reportsEnsuring engagements are clearly documentedSkills and attributes for successTo excel as a Manager in Technology Transformation Program Delivery, it's crucial to possess a blend of both technical acumen and business savvy. This role demands a deep understanding of technology and its application in driving business outcomes, as well as the ability to navigate and influence within complex organizational landscapes. Some key skills and attributes that will set you up for success include:Leading workstream delivery and tracking deliverable completion and project status.Managing engagement economics and implementing resource plans and budgets.Actively participating in client working sessions and leading workstreams in planning, execution, and closure.Identify opportunities for additional services and lead specific RFP responses.Ability to travel to client site as necessary.To qualify for the role, you must have:A Bachelor's degree (4-year degree), with a master's degree preferred in computer science, Management information systems, or related disciplines.7+ years of consulting experience working on a technology strategy, transformation, or solution delivery project with diverse teams and roles.Typically, no less than 4-6 years of relevant experience within the Insurance industry (preferably life & annuities, group benefits, individual life, or retirement services).Strong oral and written communication skills including executive presentation skills.Experience assessing and improving business processes, systems, and associated technologies.Understanding of Insurance and Annuities products and life cycle processes.What we look forWe are seeking top performers who demonstrate the ability to lead complex projects, exhibit strong problem-solving skills, and have a track record of delivering high-quality results.
