POSITION SUMMARY:

The General Manager is the supervisor of the dispensary operations and has direct authority, control, or supervision over all personnel who engage in the retail sale of cannabis products.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures compliance with all State and local rules and regulations, and directly supervises the activity within the dispensary to include staff training and education.

Provides management and leadership in the dispensary.

Manages member specific logs as required (the receipt, storage and auditing of all inventory), is responsible for informing the chief purchasing officer on ordering new inventory and supplies as necessary.

Resolves all inventory discrepancies and member-staff conflicts.

Supervises assistant managers and performs inventory control actions such as receiving, counting and inspecting for quality and compliance.

Oversees documenting all inventory movements to be recorded in the company’s and State’s track and trace system to identify the proper location and quantity of product at all times.

Oversees and performs reconciliation inventory counts based on company requirements.

Accurately documenting all inventory movements to be recorded in the company’s track and trace system and into the State’s track and trace software, METRC to identify the proper location and quantity of product at all times.

Oversees compliance inspections for every inbound shipment.

Develops and maintains a product locator system and ensures the optimal utilization of storage spaces.

Responsible for the security and confidentiality of all patient information, as well as overall compliance with HIPAA.

Directs and monitors assistant managers to accomplish daily tasks, consistent with established procedures.

Establishes methods to follow the operating plan in compliance with all State and local rules and regulations.

Maintains records required by law and ensures quality assurance plans, including but not limited to plans to detect, identify, and prevent dispensing errors related to product packaging and labeling.

Manages and implements policies and procedures for the return of cannabis products from members, the storage and/or disposal of such products, and meeting reporting requirements for adverse events and product recall.

Implement HR policies and programs in support of company initiatives; direct all compliance efforts for the company to minimize risk.

Conduct investigations: respond to unemployment claims, EEOC, DOL, and/or employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civic rights complaints.

Conduct exit interviews, analyze data, and make recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.

Conduct performance reviews with employees and monitor employee productivity, attitudes, and performance results.

Implement software systems in collaboration with IT partners.

Recruit and retain top quality staff for each department; conduct interviews.

Manage talent acquisition and workforce management plan.

Manage leave administration practices.

Maintain excellent facilities conducive to enhancing employee productivity.

Provide company-wide communication and manage change.

Ensure employee safety, wellness, and health and welfare.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
