My client is a boutique turnaround & restructuring firm who is a market leader in financial and operational consulting.Job Description:As a Turnaround and Restructuring Senior Associate you will play a critical role in helping distressed businesses navigate challenging financial situations. This position is ideal for professionals with 3-5 years of experience in transaction advisory services, financial consulting, or investment banking who are looking to make a transition into restructuring consulting.Key Responsibilities:Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial assessments of distressed companies, including analyzing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to identify areas of concern and opportunity.Due Diligence: Perform thorough due diligence on distressed businesses to evaluate their financial health, operational efficiency, and potential risks.Turnaround Strategy Development: Collaborate with the team to develop tailored turnaround strategies aimed at improving the financial stability and long-term viability of distressed clients.Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models to support restructuring plans, including sensitivity analysis and scenario planning,

3-statement modeling experience required .Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, creditors, shareholders, and other stakeholders to explain the proposed turnaround plans and negotiate terms.Project Management: Manage and coordinate multiple turnaround and restructuring projects simultaneously, ensuring they are executed within deadlines and budget constraints.Travel: Be prepared for travel to client sites or other locations as required to conduct on-site assessments and meet with stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor Degree requiredCTP, CIRA, CPA, CFA or CMA certificate would be preferred, but not required.3-5 years of relevant experience in transaction advisory services, financial consulting, or investment banking, restructuring experience a plus.Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Understanding of restructuring processes is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a tight knit team.Willingness to travel (50%+) for client engagements.
