Our client seeks a Vice President of Sales Operations to join their rapidly growing Oil and Gas company. The Vice President of Sales Operations is responsible for achieving sales and operational goals in a specific geographic territory. Other key responsibilities include identifying and targeting new customers, implementing vertical market strategies, running a P&L, and making decisions to manage profitability.Key Results AreaResponsible for consistently achievingtheirpersonal sales and service goalswhile also supporting the sales activities of the Professional Sales team members to reach the overall sales goalConstantly nurtures existing “trade” clients and is always looking to bring on new, qualified trade Clients to promote financial growthUses knowledge of P&L to ensure profitability of the division through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Establishes and maintains a consistent schedule of visits to “trade” clients to ensure sales opportunities are recognized and maximized.Supports the leadership team in the developmentand executionof all sales goals and understands all aspects of the goal development methodology and application (how it all works)Uses systemsas prescribed to enter client data,analyze sales results,andidentify and capitalize on existing opportunities.Operations 50%Oversee the operations of the business, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes and to use P&L to make them more profitableP&L experience looking at practices that focus on non-profitable practices such as rents, variable costs, decisions for managed profitability, understand what financial levels to pull to make the business being more profitableCost effective solutions utilizing best business solutionsLooking at process and procurement, loss leaders vs profitable productsClient Relationship Management10%Consistently communicates with clients to ensure client satisfaction, that our services are top of mind with our clientele, and that we are achieving “vendor of choice” status.Develops and executes a strategy to maximize results withclientsthat includes forecasting and analysis.Conducts research in order to become a subject matter expert in the areas relevant to our clientele.Fully utilizes CRM system to maximize personal sales and support the overall Pro Sales team’s results.Effectively communicates client requests (product, financial, design, etc.) to the appropriate person/departmentAttendand actively participate (uses the information learned effectively) in industrymeetings, sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developmentsConducts sessions/events with clients including, but not limited to, Product Knowledge training, public relations events and consumer facing activitiesSkills & QualificationsBA or BS degree preferredThree (3) or more years of successful sales experience with a proven winning track record for developing new businesses and expanding the business baseProficient in relationship building through clients including C-level executivesStrong analytical skills – ability to assess, design and sell a given solutionExposure to the Oil & Gas industry preferredExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong customer service and rapport building abilities/ Low Ego+ High Impact ResultsGreat interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation capabilitiesPersonal drive and internal motivation toward high achievementAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentWillingness to take risks and try innovative, new approachesValid Driver’s License with a relatively clean driving recordStrong general business acumen and maturity50% travel
