We are seeking a Digital Product Owner with Investment Analytics Solutions experience. This role is responsible for the overall user experience of Cetera’s investment analytics tools and resources, enabled via Cetera’s digital platform AdviceWorks as well as key 3rd party vendor solutions. This role owns the design and execution for investment analytics features and reporting capabilities and will help drive the product strategy/roadmap in collaboration with Product Owners, business and compliance partners. This role will also manage any 3rd party vendors solutions that provide an investment analytic capability.

This opportunity offers a Hybrid work environment from any of our offices, in Dallas TX, San Diego, CA, El Segundo, CA, Shamburg IL, Denver, CO, Dubuque, IA and St. Cloud, MN or St. Paul MN.

What you will do:

Create and recommend the product category vision and strategy; articulating the specific functionality and needs for investment analytics capabilities and experience that need to be delivered based on feedback/input from advisor tech committee, channel leaders, and Digital Solutions leadership. Oversee the implementation of agreed upon strategies.

Discover what users need by conducting user research and identifying critical insights.

Construct user journey maps/flows, process flows, and other supporting visual and requirements documentation.

Act as SME for agile delivery teams, bringing in the voice of the customer and internal stakeholders.

Engage with our advisor tech committees, conduct market, competitive, and user research to inform the product strategy and roadmap.

Participate in cross team development reviews and discussion to ensure a complete understanding and alignment with the AdviceWorks roadmap, supporting long-term synchronizing and planning between the teams.

Work with Cetera Financial Group cross-functional teams to ensure field facing teams are aware of any drive awareness and adoption.

Coordinate with approved reporting 3rd party vendors as identified. Currently Morningstar Advisor Workstation, YCharts, and Nitrogen fall under this role.

What you need to have:

Experienced leader and/or influencer of people and distributed teams.

Demonstrated ability to work on sensitive initiatives, showing discretion while helping drive projects forward.

Ability to use a data and insight driven approach to understanding the marketplace, customer needs (end-consumer and financial professional), and competitor offerings.

Proven ability to engage, collaborate, and engender trust with other teams (including user-experience and development teams).

Ability to use a lean/design thinking/user centered design approach to product vision, design, and roadmap management.

Ability to understand technical subject matter and make informed decisions/trade-offs in partnership with application development and engineering teams.

Minimum Required Education & Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience working in financial services with experience with performance and other client reporting platforms.

Travel Requirements: Up to 10%.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000, plus competitive performance-based bonus. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
