JPF09801The UCLA Jonathan and Karin Fielding School of Public Health is undertaking a search for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Epidemiology. This is a state-funded tenure-track position with a 9-month appointment. We seek an outstanding candidate with demonstrated success and dedication to research, teaching, and training the next generation of epidemiologists. Research with an emphasis in epidemiology methodology would be welcomed in the areas such as, but not limited to, risk modeling & prediction, causal inference, and big data analyses. The specialty areas can be in either epidemiology of infectious diseases or non-communicable diseases.Minimum Qualifications:Doctoral degree (PhD, ScD, DrPH or equivalent) in Epidemiology, Public Health, Population Health Sciences, or a related field.A strong track record of peer-reviewed scientific publications.Experience teaching and training undergraduate and graduate students.Commitment to epidemiology and public health.The candidate is expected to bring or develop a successful external-funded research program in their specialty area.
