As a Development Manager for Sea Logistics, you will be responsible for driving the growth and development of new and existing business within your designated area. Your primary focus will be to identify new opportunities, nurture client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to achieve revenue targets. You will play a crucial role in aligning business strategies with our Roadmap 2026 and Vision 2030 objectives, contributing to the overall success of the organization.Your Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Relationships: Identify and secure new business opportunities across Sea Logistics, focusing on FCL and LCL services.Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.Strategic Planning & Market Analysis: Develop and execute business strategies aligned with national goals, ensuring compliance with the Sea Logistics 2.0 Blueprint.Leverage market research and insights to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.Revenue Growth & Sales Targets: Collaborate with sales teams and operations to drive revenue and market share growth. Monitor performance, adjust strategies as needed, and meet or exceed assigned sales targets.Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Facilitate seamless communication and integration across internal teams, ensuring a smooth customer experience and high-quality service delivery.Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain detailed sales activity records, providing regular updates and forecasts to management.Compliance & Operational Excellence: Ensure all activities adhere to company policies and regulations while optimizing pricing and sales procedures to enhance operational efficiency.Client Retention & Engagement: Lead retention efforts with a client-centric strategy, particularly in the TPEB market, ensuring long-term satisfaction and profitability.Your Skills and Experiences
5+ years of sales and new business development experience.5+ years of freight forwarding industry experience in particular with Sea Logistics.Demonstrated skills in planning, critical thinking, information gathering/analysis, prioritization, time management, and complaint resolution.Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to actively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Good Reasons to Join
