These efforts include initiatives focused on creating a talent pipeline for the organization, new employee onboarding, career development, and inclusion and diversity (I&D).We are looking for an experienced individual to oversee the design, implementation and evaluation of strategic learning & development (L&D) programs that shape the future of our organization. You will make a substantial impact by developing learner-centric experiences and aligning them to our business priorities. This role requires a high degree of analytical ability to find opportunities to improve employee development through change and creativity - proposing and developing the appropriate learning solution(s).You will interact with various teams to develop project plans to support learning needs and opportunities across the Information Security organization. As a Learning & Development professional, you have demonstrated experience in managing delivery of highly technical training in a variety of applications such as eLearning, on-demand, video-instructor-led training, instructor-led training, blended learning, job-aides, etc. The position includes program and content development with some facilitation.Description
The Learning & Development Program Manager possesses a rare blend of business and technical skills; a big-picture vision, the drive and tactical ability to make that vision a reality. You possess an in-depth understanding of adult learning theory principles and are able to balance responsibilities as an instructional designer and program manager. You are able to initiate and manage the lifecycle of projects.Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a corporate L&D organization.Strong communication and writing skills, as well as influential skills.Ability to work in a fast-changing environment.Experience in Instructional Design or Curriculum Design.Preferred Qualifications
Stay at the forefront of L&D industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.Research and incorporate innovative learning methodologies, such as AI to enhance the effectiveness of our programs.Gather business requirements for current and future content deliverables by leading feedback activities.Create, manage, and market hiring pipelines into AIS, assessing the organization's broad skillsets and developing learning programs or managing external vendors to ensure the necessary skills are in place to achieve security outcomes.Design, develop, and lead social learning cohorts that promote cross-functional collaboration on passion projects, expanding skillsets and driving innovation in the security space.Conduct skill mapping across the organization to establish formal cross-organizational mentor partnerships, fostering both learning and mentoring opportunities.Initiate and manage learning projects from needs analysis to deployment, considering the complexities of a diverse audience.Developing a long-term vision for content strategy and aligning it with overall business objectives.Knowledge of adult learning principles, modalities, methods, and standard methodologies in learning, including culturally responsive and inclusive practices.Drive innovative approaches to L&D and guide process improvements.Engage with vendors to measure quality and effectiveness of their deliverables.Measure, understand and communicate the overall impact learning content has on business operations to the leadership team.Support the development of L&D content, processes and execute with consistent quality and timeliness.Enthusiasm for working in cross-functional teams as well as autonomously.Consulting with business partners to provide creative solutions to address identified strategic challenges.Exceptional attention to detail.At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,900 and $201,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
