Join our world-class, innovative team today.Position Specific DescriptionThe Storage Integration team is looking for an innovative and dynamic Project Director who is passionate about renewable energy. In this position, you will be heavily involved with Renewable Development projects from beginning to end, including exposure to cross-functional teams across the NextEra Energy Resources organization. You will be part of a growing team of experts who not only provide excellent inputs and analysis but are also customer service-oriented with internal and external stakeholders.Job OverviewEmployees in this role are strong problem solvers, blending creative and analytical skills to solve the grid problems of today and the future. You will utilize data from various internal and external sources to perform technical & market analysis and propose storage & hybrid solutions to support our customers’ evolving needs. As an internal consultant, you will be expected to work collaboratively with Developers, Originators, and technical SMEs to support RFPs, customer discussions, and PPA negotiations.Job Duties
Leads energy storage strategies through technical and market analysis in one or more markets.Develops models and dashboards related to energy storage.Tracks relevant industry trends and public intel related to energy storage contracting, project status, and technology for competitive purposes.Leads storage sizing and design exercises to support RFP and bilateral discussions.Coordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analysis, engineering/design review, resource analysis, and legal review.Acts as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding prospecting, contracting, permitting, interconnection, and policy making.Leads and/or assists in the construction of contractual arrangements for storage projects.Participates in negotiating agreements with consultants and subcontractors.Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements.Fosters external relationships with customers, third parties, and members of the community.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications
