The Role
Netflix is seeking a Group Product Manager to lead our Growth Lifecycle team—a highly-aligned, high-performing group responsible for driving customer lifetime value (LTV) across upsells, cross-sells, retention, and core areas like Identity, Security, monetizing password sharing, and Privacy. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing our growth lifecycle strategy, overseeing a talented team of PMs, and collaborating closely with other product teams to drive impactful growth.
What You’ll Do
As Group Product Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our growth strategy, focusing on:
Leadership & Team Development: Oversee a strong team of PMs, guiding them in setting and achieving ambitious goals. Actively coach, mentor, and grow the team, ensuring a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing environment.
Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership: Oversee the end-to-end customer lifecycle, defining a clear, data-informed strategy that maximizes LTV. This includes leading prioritization across your portfolio, coordinating closely with our UI, data, and algorithms teams, and ensuring tight alignment with cross-functional partners.
Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with leaders across Product, including Acquisition, Platform, and other Growth teams. Partner with cross-functional leaders to articulate a compelling product vision, turn that vision into actionable, well-scoped projects, and prioritize thoughtfully across competing initiatives.
Organizational Alignment & Communication: Ensure the broader organization understands our product strategy and roadmap, fostering transparency. Proactively seek diverse viewpoints to keep our focus on the most critical, strategic work.
What You Bring
Proven Leadership: 8-10+ years in product management, including experience leading growth-oriented product teams and managing people. You have a demonstrated ability to develop and inspire teams to achieve ambitious outcomes.
Strategic Thinking & Communication: You’re a strategic thinker and exceptional communicator who excels in both written and verbal forms. You can clearly convey product concepts and lead thoughtful discussions on strategic developments, decision-making, and progress with your team and manager.
Growth Mindset & High Attention to Detail: You bring a growth mindset and a high attention to detail, understanding how every product element connects to broader team and company goals.
Cross-Functional Expertise: Experience working in matrixed environments where products or platforms cut across multiple teams and functions.
Technical & Analytical Prowess: Familiarity with ML-powered consumer experiences, with experience in eCommerce or similar growth environments as a plus.
Exposure to the entertainment industry or related products and solutions in the past is a huge plus.
