Reporting to the Category Manager Controller, you will deliver best in class category leadership, leading directly the relationship of mature customers/less complex customer groups, by using a mix of market, shopper, and customer insights.What are we looking for?
Experience demonstrating advanced problem solving and analytic capabilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.Proven experience in working in a category function.Shopper and/or consumer insight development experience.Experience working with customer teams.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.What will be your key responsibilities?
Deliver the category vision content, tailored to the retailer by developing a clear 3-year Category strategy aligned with the retailer.Understand and deploy vision to the shelf for the account, collaborating with Sales to set joint targets using the picture of success model.Work with objectivity with both our external and internal customers, ensuring Category growth and objectivity are at the heart of all interactions with Customers.Deliver best in class Category Management by taking an objective total category perspective when providing market, consumer, and shopper insights to customer/operational teams.Responsible for the Range Review process from inception through to implementation and delivery of post-review analysis.Deliver Mars innovation launches into the account/customer, including creating category-focused selling stories.Collaborate with insight colleagues to deliver depth account/customer understanding.Performance tracking and delivery of core KPIs compliance.Delivery of customer relationship, meetings, and interaction vs the contact strategy.Develop good relationships with internal Mars Account teams and ensure internal alignment behind the customer category strategy. Attend account team meetings and establish yourself as an integral part of their team.What can you expect from Mars?
