Penta is seeking a People Operations Coordinator to assist the VP of People, US in providing a world-class employee experience at our global growing company. The People Operations Coordinator will support all activities supporting US employees, ranging from recruiting and onboarding to employee development and benefits administration. This person will be joining a team that has a strong culture of teamwork and internal customer service for our employees.The People Operations Coordinator is expected to:
Provide excellent internal customer service for employees across the company, ensuring a detail-oriented and thoughtful approach to the employee experienceServe as a thought partner to the VP of People, helping her focus on big picture items while ensuring the small details don’t slip through the cracksSupport recruiting, onboarding, and training of employees across all business unitsEnsure employees have all the information they need to take advantage of the benefits provided by the company (i.e. establish documentation and consistent communication to employees for benefits, compensation, etc)Identify areas where policies and procedures may be needed to help support a smooth employee experienceServe as a resource for employees and support problem-solving and conflict resolution across the companySuggest improvements or initiatives based on quantitative and qualitative feedback from employees and stakeholdersLead company-wide employee initiatives in conjunction with the VP of People, such as performance reviews and annual retreatsProvide support to the staffing, payroll, and benefits functions of the People teamThe ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, operations management, or related field2+ years of experience working in roles directly supporting human resources activities or initiativesStrong customer service mentality and ability to take initiative and solve problems creatively and efficientlyStrong appreciation for organization and attention to detail, understanding the importance of data integrity in all employee-related mattersStrong analytical skills - ability to synthesize and leverage data to make decisions (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, etc)High emotional intelligence and integrity, with the ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all timesAbility to embrace change and maintain a continuous learning mindsetAn entrepreneurial spirit, needing minimal guidance to come up with creative solutions to problemsExperience working in a hybrid environment, preferably in a professional services, communications, and/or research firmExperience using Lever ATS and Paylocity HRIS - preferredLocation and Hybrid Schedule:
Our headquarters is in Washington, DC and most of the local team operates on a hybrid schedule. For this position, we are only considering applicants who are available to join our team in our downtown DC office in person three to four days a week.Salary Range:
The base salary range for this position will be $65,000 - $85,000, depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications as they relate to the position.Benefits:
