This temporary position is located in Durham, NC - Durham County. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $30.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services This position is located at 115 market st suite 201,Durham, NC 27701.The incumbent will provide evaluation, assessment, and treatment services to children with developmental concerns and their families. Provide consultation to CDSA staff and providers related to mental and behavioral health issues. Applicant must have knowledge of: social-emotional development in young children, principles of early intervention and evidence-based practice in natural environments, developmental disabilities and needs of young children and their families with a wide range of behavior and psychosocial concerns, treatment approaches for social-emotional and attachment issues in young children, family dynamics and the impact of developmental disabilities and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) on families. Additional skills needed: ability to express ideas clearly/concisely in oral/written form, maintain client records, work with a minimal amount of supervision as a member of an interdisciplinary team, and ability to provide services virtually and in-person. Ability to move in and out of family's homes, get up and down off the floor within homes, along with extensive use of computers.
