Shift & StatusWhat Will You Do?As a Community & Residential Supervisor at Pine Rest, you'll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. Within the framework of the organizational management philosophy, leads team/unit in daily tasks. Supervisor will act as a resource person and /or trainer for staff.

Our services include a state-of-the-art psychiatric urgent care center and a soon-to-be-built pediatric behavioral health center, outpatient, inpatient, partial hospitalization (day programs), assessment and testing, residential, addiction treatment and specialty services such as crisis response, employee assistance programs, forensic psychiatry and psychology, and neuromodulation. On-the-job educational programs for nurses, psychologists, advanced practice providers, psychiatrists, and chaplains are equipping the next generation of care providers.

Schedule Details:Monday-Friday, 4pm-12amNo WeekendsNo On-CallNo HolidaysPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:
Actively participates in performing duties in accordance to the organizational mission, acting as a role model for other staff.Organizes team /unit structure and daily activities.Directs tasks of team/unit members, actively participating in such tasks.Documents team/unit progress. Manages reporting and communicating processes.Is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the facility.Continually ensures that department/facilities/procedures are up to code.Acts as a lead in established performance improvement activities and customer service initiatives.Accountable for and holds assigned staff accountable for the actualization of established strategies, policies, plans, and budgets.May be responsible to develop program budgets and operating within the parameters of the budget.May create the schedule or oversees scheduling.Communicates requirements of staff, encouraging necessary training.May train new staff in day-to-day functions of their position.Maintains the established policies and procedures of the organization and department/unit and works with staff to achieve goals.Represents organization to organizational constituencies, health care institutions, governmental agencies, regulatory agencies, and other external publics on a limited basis.
What Does This Role Require?
Education/Experience:• Bachelor's degree required in a psychology, social work, or human services.• In lieu of degree, 5 years of experience in a health care setting or direct supervisory required.
