OVERVIEW:
The position of Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to senior executives of Talcott Financial Group, including the General Counsel, the Chief Risk Officer, the Chief Tax Officer and the Chief Auditor.
The person in this position will report to the General Counsel located in Hartford, CT but will be an integral member of a tight-knit group of administrative professionals supporting the organization and its leaders. This position is an hourly full-time role.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of administrative experience supporting senior executive leaders, be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative duties and be a self-starter. The candidate must have the ability to interact with the organization's executives as well as external executives and business partners. The ability to juggle multiple priorities, manage calendars for multiple executives, and to adapt to changing workflows is a requirement. To be successful the candidate needs to be a strong communicator, have a high proficiency level in a broad range of activities related to the job and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting busy leaders in a growing organization.

Advanced skill level in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerpointProven ability to successfully support multiple executives in a busy work environmentRESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides primary administrative support to senior executives and works closely with members of senior management to facilitate successful completion of initiatives of the senior leadersPerforms broad range of administrative and support-related tasks including effective managementof executive calendars and schedules; provides strategic insight where needed.Partners strategically with executive leaders to meet all deliverables, create effective presentations, reports, scorecards, and materials.Serves as proxy for leaders in various systems related to employee data, time keeping, expense management or other areas leaders deem appropriateHandles confidential information and communications.Full understanding of company's operation and procedures.May also assist in mentoring and training lower-level administrative support staff.*Talcott Financial Group is an equal employment and affirmative action employer.
