The Logistics Analyst reporting to the Corporate Logistics Manager, will assist, support, and creatively contribute towards the Company's efforts around end-to-end Supply Chain Management. Logistics Analyst will support the Supply Chain operations, finance, distribution, logistics, and sourcing functions.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage and analyze supply chain dataDevelop, maintain, and distribute Supply Chain Reports and DashboardsPerform ad-hoc analysis for management as neededTrack cost savings opportunities and other KPIsRecommend continuous improvements to boost performance and reduce costsTransform data insights to actionable items that support organizational goals and initiativesConsistently generate new ideas for Logistics & Transportation projects, cost savings, and best practices
Collaborate across teams to implement new datasetsCommunicate with stakeholders to gather their requirements for establishing a new datasetCompare the shipping data and freight cost between multiple data sources and validate itTrack the company's delivery of products and targeted service levels to the customer. (95% On-Time Delivery)Assist with carrier on-boarding process and carrier negotiations and RFQs.Provide project management and support for supply chain initiatives and goalsAssist in the management of Supply Chain partners and technology vendorsInvestigate supply chain inefficiencies and develop solutions to create valueCommunicate with other departments within the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop solutions, and implement changesHelp Desk Support for shipping teamsQualifications
1 - 4 years of experience with supply chain and transportation management and data analysisBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related fieldProven analytical ability and cross-functional collaboration skillsSQL experience useful or equivalent data coding skillsExperience with Advanced Excel functions, Tableau , Power BI and/or QuickSightFamiliarity with an ERP System (JDE preferred, Oracle, SAP, or similar)Must have BI Database experienceExcellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to present to management and executivesPreferred Qualifications
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and data modeling skillsAbility to recognize, diagnose, and troubleshoot problemsAttention to detail and ability to manage large sets of dataAbility to follow and create standard work processesDeep data analytics experience preferredExtensive project management experience a plusLean Six Sigma certification a plus
