SUMMARY : The assistant performs administrative duties related to the operations of the human resources departments and provides support and assistance to the accounting department. This is a non-exempt, full-time position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the reception desk daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., ensuring it is closed down each night.Greets and directs all internal and external guests.Maintains the calendars and schedules of the Director of Human Resources.Manages the 3755 Breakthrough conference room calendar and meeting coordination for the accounting department.Performs general administrative duties including, but not limited to administrative support, scanning, filing, faxing, copying, and printing.Receives and distributes 3755 office mail.Assists with team experience events, activities, and initiatives.Assists with Path Stone items and internal store inventory ordering and tracking.Produces badges for human resources.Undertakes special projects and assignments as directed by the Director of Human Resources.Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED.A minimum of one (1) year of administrative or clerical experience.PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.General knowledge of Microsoft applications including, but not limited to Word and Excel.Ability to operate general office equipment.Ability to maintain confidential information.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Frequently required to handle several face-to-face and telephone contacts daily.Occasionally required to stand, walk, move items up to 15 pounds.
LANGUAGE SKILLS : English.
