based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA or our Seaport Boston, MA location with Mondays & Fridays remote.
The Beverage Brand Marketing Team at Ocean Spray is comprised of passionate marketers driven to build demand for the simple, honest goodness of the cranberry - resulting in vibrant, healthy lives for our consumers and farmer families. We are looking for an energetic, intellectually curious marketer who can hit the ground running and deliver against our mission.
A Day in the Life...
The Associate Brand Manager will be working side-by-side with other members of Ocean Spray's Beverage Brand Marketing team to drive growth on Ocean Spray's flagship North American Juice business. You'll be a part of a passionate group of consumer-obsessed marketers looking to drive sustainable growth in #1 self-stable juice brand in the category. This position, along with the Director and Senior Brand Manager, is responsible for delivering best-in-class consumer-centric marketing to ensure delivery of annual financial targets to our Grower Owners.
A Day in the Life of the Associate Brand Manager:
Serve as a key member of Beverage Brand Marketing Team, responsible for supporting Brand Manager and Director on all aspects of business ownership, including marketing communication strategy, packaging design, product forecasting.Responsible for tracking and reporting on weekly consumption data and internal shipment metrics, making recommendations to Brand Manager and Director on follow-ups/actions needed.Support development of monthly and quarterly business updates, annual marketing plans and semi-annual Sales materials.Responsible for management of multimillion-dollar Beverage A&P budget, including invoice tracking, monthly accruals and budget reporting.Develop, own and monitor channel-specific forecasts for core beverage products, as part of Ocean Spray's monthly demand planning process.Champion margin optimization and "design to value" projects for Beverage business to drive top-line and bottom-line growth across Beverage P&L.Position reports to Senior Brand Manager, Core Juice. Based in Massachusetts, with flexibility between two office locations: Boston office (Seaport area) and Lakeville, MA corporate headquarters.What We Are Looking For:
A Bachelors in Business or Marketing is required. An MBA is preferred.Candidate must have 2-3+ years of work experience in CPG brand management or with a marketing/strategic management consultancy.Proficiency with IRI / Nielsen POS data a plus. Ability to sift through large amounts of data to uncover true drivers behind the "why" and tell the story in a succinct way.Previous exposure to business unit P&L ownership, a plus.Candidates must possess basic knowledge of marketing practices and principles.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence without authority.Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, comfortable being both analytic and creative.Candidates should be self-starters who have demonstrated personal and thought leadership capabilities in prior responsibilities.Education:Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
