As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of a variety of events, ranging from corporate conferences to social gatherings. You will work closely with our experienced event managers, gaining valuable insights into the logistics, coordination, and marketing aspects of successful events.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of events from start to finish.Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, and transportation.Maintain budgets by tracking expenses and ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.Communicate with vendors, clients, and team members to streamline event processes.Set up and dismantle event spaces, including seating arrangements and signage.Support marketing efforts by creating promotional materials and social media content.Gather feedback post-event to analyze success and areas for improvement.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, communications, or a related field preferred.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.Salary
$800 - $1250 / week
