DescriptionConsults with cross-functional partners and Manager to develop, educate, and reinforce training curriculum to achieve optimal business results. The Sr. Talent Development Specialist is responsible for creating new and updating existing training content, facilitating instructor-led courses, and providing instructional design assistance for subject matter expert partners. 1. Develop, design, and deliver training programs as well as sustainability plan to support associate skill development and enable successful knowledge transfer.2. Identify and partner effectively with subject matter experts, collaborating in the development and delivery of training and communication.3. Serve as project manager on small to medium scale projects - including cost projections, communication, project updates, and deadline management. 4. In partnership with manager, evaluate effectiveness of training initiatives and adjust if appropriate in order to achieve business objectives.5. Responsible for third-party vendor management when appropriate.6. Serve as a mentor for more junior team members regarding curriculum design, project management, etc.7. Proactively makes suggestions to improve training programs based on participant feedback, etc.8. Manage multiple programs and / or initiatives concurrently.9. Ensure projects do not exceed the agreed upon budget or timeline.10. Responsible for driving training and communication strategy at the project level.Qualification1. Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, related field or equivalent experience required.2. 3+ years of experience in training or instructional design, preferably in a retail or corporate environment. 3. Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.4. Project management experience required.5. Eagerness to learn/use technology to develop content (i.e. InDesign, Rise, Vyond, Articulate, Lectora, etc.)6. Experience with learning management system preferred.7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required, experience in Office 365 preferred. 8.
