Loan Operations Specialist I
(Consumer and Commercial Loan Booking)
Location: College Station, TX
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of all loan bookings, loan account maintenance, loan review for exceptions, daily loan transactions and loan payoffs. Build and maintain loan and collateral files from documents received. Review and maintain collateral tracking and tickler exception items. Create and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external clients.
JOB FUNCTIONS: Book commercial, consumer and SBA loans (new, renew, extended, modified), process line of credit transactions and perform file maintenance on loan accounts Clear collateral tracking and tickler exception items Review daily maintenance and system reports Apply loan payments received Scan and file documentation for loan and collateral files. Provide quality client service by delivering prompt and accurate information. Maintain a current working knowledge of all Bank policies and procedures, laws and regulations applicable to position Communicates with clients and lenders regarding loan accounts. Perform other tasks for Loan Operations Manager KEY QUALIFICATIONS and POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Possesses thorough knowledge of loan servicing for all types of loans Ability to work with minimal supervision Excellent client interactions skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, i.e. Excel and Word Proficient with 10-key and keyboarding skills Knowledgeable with financial institution operating policies and procedures and banking regulations, state and federal POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience in all areas of loan servicing
