Summary: A Loan Operations Specialist IV assists the Managing Director of Loan Operations, Loan Operations Lead, ensuring compliance with the Bank’s loan policy and all regulatory requirements. Primary Responsibilities: Performs daily scanning into designated loan doc imaging software under correct document type to ensure all loan documents are being retained for permanent record. Performs daily Reviews of all New & Renewed loan agreements to add all required covenants and ongoing ticklers for collateral tracking perfection and ongoing customer financial reporting into designated software held in banks portfolio. Manages weekly/monthly exception reports to produce accurate information to lenders and lending support staff. Daily Satisfies ticklers as financial and collateral documentation are received. Each document is reviewed for accuracy to make sure all required information is included to satisfy the tickler and or exception. Periodically verifies documents are being uploaded to designated imaging system properly, and all ticklers are being added/satisfied. Initiate any required changes and updates. Performs the responsibilities of a Loan Operations Specialist III, II and I as required and necessary. Performs clerical duties including answering phones, assisting customers with questions and balance inquiries, or transferring to appropriate department/employee. Files both physical and electronic loan documents as well as verifying that they have been filed correctly and clearly within the e-filing system. Assists operations staff with daily responsibilities involving mailing notices, posting transactions, and facilitating officer or processor requests. Monitors and reconciles general ledger accounts, internal loan accounts, floor plans, and holding accounts. Resolving discrepancies as necessary and tracking reconciliation reports. Reviews daily reports for transactional or system errors and provides management with reports necessary for compliance. Perform operational duties including mailing paid outs, filing mortgages and UCCs, tracking property and flood insurance, processing participation payments, and facilitating officer or processor requests. Processes of mortgage escrow transactions and servicing of loan escrow accounts. Issues payments for insurance and taxes. Performs annual reviews. Cross Train in other functions in department to be able to assist when others are out of office. Performs other responsibilities as requested and assigned by management. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (in finance, accounting, or other business-related fields preferred). Experience: 3 years of loan servicing and loan data entry experience (2 years of commercial and/or commercial real estate loan servicing and loan data entry experience preferred); 5 years of banking experience required.
