General Statement of Duties
Our Home Health Agency specifically focuses our services on those with Medicaid and self-paying patients. We accept Medicare, but Medicare is NOT our primary payer. This Administrative Nursing position has primary responsibility for the planned, ongoing, and systematic gathering and assimilation of data documenting the delivery of quality Home Health Services, with quarterly reports to the Board of Health. This position: Develops/Implements and conducts all review activities for the Performance Improvement Plan; assists with new employee orientations; coordinates continuing education for RNs; reviews nurse-provided billing documentation to ensure proper coding and completion of OASIS; manages the Home Health Infection Control Program; Coordinates Case Conference Activities; and in rare instances may assist Home Health staff making visits to patients and providing care as staffing needs arise. This is an Administrative QA/QI Nursing position with only limited opportunities for direct patient care.

Desirable Education and Experience
Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing and one year of professional nursing experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Prior Home Health Agency Experience Required.
Required ImmunizationsThe following are immunizations that we require for all employees prior to the first date of employment:Two step TST (skin test) If you have had a negative TST within the last 12 months, you must have another onecompleted prior to employment.Proof of MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) immunity: You must have documentation of two doses of measles,mumps and rubella given at least 28 days apart or laboratory evidence of immunity or laboratory confirmation ofdisease.Hepatitis B series: Either evidence of 3 doses; signed declination form or lab evidence of immunityEvidence of Tdap vaccineEvidence of varicella immunity: You must have documentation of two doses of varicella given at least 28 daysapart or a history of varicella or herpes zoster based on physician diagnosis or laboratory evidence of immunity orlaboratory confirmation of disease.
Special Requirement: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing in required, as is a valid NCDL.
