The Campus Services Unit is hiring Student Assistants to work in various departments within the unit. These include:- Mailroom- AUM Bookstore- AUM Cafe (Dining Services)- Conference Services- Groundskeeping- AUM Wellness Center- Transportation
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide applicable services to students, faculty, staff and the AUM Community.Assist with day-to-day operations of a campus services department or office, including clerical, physical and technical tasks.Work alongside other campus services team members to accomplish tasks.Greet visitors to the department or office, answer telephone calls and electronic communication, and other reception tasks.Ensure all departmental policies and procedures are followed at all times.Maintain scheduled hours.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:Customer service skillsBasic knowledge of computer software applicationsSpecialized knowledge associated with campus services departmental assignmentAbility to communicate effectively with othersAbility to represent the campus services unit with professionalismAbility to follow oral and written instructionsOrganization and time management skillsAbility to operate equipment and tools related to departmental operationsMay require specialized physical abilities related to departmental operations
Depending on the campus services department assignment, work outside of AUM business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, M-F), including nights and weekends may be required.
