As our Dispatcher in this hybrid role (with at least 3 days in the RSS Louisville, KY office each week), you'll be the hub for coordinating all field service resources, both internal technicians and subcontractors. You'll work to maximize efficiencies while balancing the needs of clients and internal technicians.
You should take joy in building relationships and getting results working with colleagues that don't report to you and clients. To thrive in this role you must also learn and manage the domino effect of changes and take ownership to ensure that every step is followed and executed for success.
Here's What You Can Expect
To be responsible for ensuring paperwork is completed by others that don't report to youTo be looked to as the subject matter expert and resource for informationOwnership of internal and external field service resourcesTo learn the systems and required lead times for all components to ensure products are onsite at the same time as people resourcesBuild and develop a network of field service subcontractors in each stateTo be responsible for maximizing efficiencies by dispatching and routing technicians to the highest priority calls along the most efficient route.Daily operate in several software systems including our CRM software Tigerpaw, GPS tracking software, and leverage Field Nation for one off jobs.A work environment with rapid changesWhat makes us different
The Field Service team at RSS covers a large territory so managing the scheduling efficiency is important but with a close attention to the workload that is being asked of each technician. This role works closely with our Help Desk and Projects teams. The Dispatcher is instrumental in protecting the workload of our internal technicians and maintaining our commitment to client needs.
Our clients are Quick Service Restaurant owners and operators nationwide with equipment ranging from legacy to cutting edge in unique configurations. At RSS, we provide a single source for the technology needed to run a restaurant. We serve as the partner to create the integrated technology solutions and provide the support necessary to keep everything running smoothly.
