Description
Popli Design Group (PDG), a growing multi-disciplined Architecture/Engineering firm is seeking a HR Operations Generalist in the areas of payroll, benefits, onboarding/off boarding, and record keeping.
In this role, your responsibilities will include-
Payroll/Benefits/Leave:
Process biweekly payroll for ~180+ employees; partner with Accounting and Managers on employee active/separation payouts and changes as well as payroll compliance updates; Set up and manage benefit programs and HRIS feeds; Answer employee questions and update records; Handle leave administration.Onboarding : Employee set-up in all HRIS systems, coordinate welcome swag and supplies, and schedule preliminary basic required training.Off boarding : Initiate separation process to include benefits and exit letter; Coordinate return of PDG equipment/property and final pay; Terminate employee in the HRIS systems.Record Keeping/Compliance:
Update and maintain accurate employee records including trainings, benefit, and payroll changes; Verify I-9 documentation; Assist HR Director with compliance activities such as office postings and mandatory trainings; Oversees immigration documentation files and assists foreign citizens with immigration procedures.Assist HR Director where needed and drive special projects.Requirements for this position are-
Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.Excellent organization skills to keep track of various work streams and deadlines.Attention to detailStrong judgement and problem solving skills.The ability to work with all levels and a diverse employee group and insure confidentiality when needed.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.AAS or BS Degree in Human Resources or related program3+ years' experience in similar roleExperience with HRIS or payroll system is preferred. Experience with Paylocity a plusSHRM-CP credential is a plusValid NYS DMV Driver's License.Work Environment -
Professional office environment / open workspace100% in-officeMay be required to travel to other regional offices or career fairs on occasion
