Due to growth we are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join our team.
As a key member of our Tax Team, the Manager will utilize his/her technical skills and educational background and apply expertise on a variety of engagements with clients of the Firm. This critical role in our growing Tax practice includes managing client relationships, performing technical tax work and managing staff. Our department is dedicated to assisting various clients with tax compliance and planning.Job Responsibilities
Serve as client's trusted advisor, demonstrate knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to client and teamReview corporate tax returns, and assist in preparation of larger highly complex returnsPreparation and review of corporate tax provisions, ASC 740Knowledge of corporate foreign tax compliance (Forms 5471, 5472's, GILTI)Act as a resource for tax staff and senior tax accountants.Perform tax research on related client issues.Become involved in tax planning for pass-through business clients and the individual taxpayer.Prepare BNA projections and become involved in planning for less complex clients.Assist accounting and auditing staff members in client meetings.Analyze IRS notices and drafts responses.Delegate work to tax staff and senior tax accountants and supervises work.Participate in tax department administrative projects.Act as director-in-charge for personal tax return clients.Act as key client contact person for smaller engagements.Bill clients and discusses fees with smaller clients.Contribute to the client service team by producing quality work with quick turnaround and attentive service.Establishes positive working relationships with all partners and staff members.Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accountingMaster's degree in Taxation or related field preferred6+ years of accounting experience prior experience in public accountingCPA, or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is requiredDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing, both internally and externallyDemonstrated project management skillsProficient use of applicable technology (ProFX Engagement and Axcess knowledge a plus)

We are looking for a candidate to work full time. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 8:90 am to 5:30 pm with expected overtime during our peak season: February through April and sporadically through the rest of the year. These periods require increasing normal weekly hours, which includes weekends.
