Talascend is currently seeking a Commissioning Manager for a full-time contract career opportunity in Orange, TX. Per diem is available for those traveling from outside the area.
OVERVIEW:
The Commissioning Manager will oversee the completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases of various commercial and industrial construction projects. This role involves ensuring adherence to project requirements, managing budgets, and coordinating with client operations and contractors.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and support safety policies and on-site safety activities Oversee project completion and pre-commissioning requirements and coordinate with client and contractors Manage budget, including subcontractors, training, and materials Develop and implement commissioning plans and project procedures Supervise tracking, reporting, and turnover documentation Oversee coordination, testing, and commissioning activities, addressing any equipment and device issues Lead area commissioning managers and pre-commissioning staff, supporting project completion Ensure compliance with documentation, process standards, and reporting requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma/GED with 11 years of completions/commissioning experience; OR Associate's in Engineering/Construction Management with 9 years; OR Bachelor's in relevant field with 7 years Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and cloud-based software Experience with systems including steam generation, cooling towers, wastewater treatment, compressed air systems, and power distribution
