The Plant Manager position will be responsible for all aspects of plant operations including safety, environmental compliance, reliability, quality, employee relations, accounting, cost control and budgeting for the plant operation. This person will direct facility staff to manage a safe workplace, increase productivity and identify areas of improvement. The Plant Manager will work with corporate functions including HSSE, Commercial, Logistics, Accounting, and Engineering to ensure that the facility is constantly improving the safety and environmental performance of the plant, achieving all regulatory requirements, operating in a planned and reliable manner to maximize profitability and utilization of the facility. In addition, the Plant Manager will act as the Project Manager for all capital investments to maintain and or upgrade operational assets, in support of terminaling and storage operations for various hydrocarbon products.
All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, and vision of the organization. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED (Required)In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Ten (10) years of experience in plant operations, refining process, chemical marine facility, rail facility or heavy industrial environmentFive (5) years of experience in engineering, mechanical or industrial maintenance position, Manufacturing operations or similar experience.Five (5) years of experience in a management positionPreferred CertIfications/Licensures: (FEMA Emergency Management Certification - ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, HAZWOPER Supervisor Training)Familiar with environmental management practices within the oil/chemical industry.Experienced project management of plant infrastructure and efficiency on complex projects.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Safe & Reliable Operations
Responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the entire plantMarine terminal management of bulk liquid fuel oils.Manage facility preventive maintenance activities.Ensure plant maintenance of equipment, tank and.Maintain product quality standards.Responsible for providing services to commercial customers, overseeing customer engagements and ensuring service levels.Manage the relationship between this site and the site partners, including customers, contractors, service provider, and other 3rd parties.Schedule/Approve operator work schedules to ensure safe and reliable operations of the plant.Facilitate quarterly third-party gauging activities and reconciliation of product inventories.
Compliance
Ensure tank and pipeline integrity programs.Execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal and corporate guidelines.Monitor plant operations to make sure that environmental standards, government regulations and safety requirements are met.Develop expense and capital budgets, gain approval, analyze monthly variances and lost opportunities, and operate the plant within budget parameters.Adhere to all corporate policies and standards including but not limited to environmental and regulatory, human resources, facility, equipment, operations, and maintenance.Oversee internal and external plant audits and ensure action is taken on audit findings (if applicable).Monitor plant generated reporting related to product quality, chemical usage, regulatory compliance tasks, equipment inspections, etc.

Ownership and accountability for all plans, budgets, personnel and overall profitability of the plantProvide leadership and direction to all plant personnel.Ensure plant is staffed with competent personnel through involvement in the hiring selection, performance conversations, employee development and mandatory training completion.Provide leadership to deliver the production plan, identify risks to operation, including short-term mitigations and long-term solutionsServe as the main focal point for health, safety and environment (HSE) issues and provide leadership and direction on related issues in operation to prevent accidents.Encourage open communications by providing necessary information through meetings and mentoring
