Human Resources Manager (Food & Beverage Manufacturer)Location:
Goodyear, AZJob Type : Full-time, OnsitePay Rate : $100K - $120KJob PurposeThe Human Resources Manager provides strategic leadership and support across key functional areas within Human Resources, including recruitment, employment, employee relations, job evaluation, benefits administration, employee development, training, and special projects. This role serves as both a strategic and tactical business partner to the plant leadership team.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR Support: Analyze trends and metrics in collaboration with the operations team to develop tailored solutions, programs, and policies.Employee Relations: Work closely with leaders and employees to foster positive work relationships, build morale, support employee development, and enhance productivity and retention.Policy Guidance: Offer HR policy interpretation and guidance with comprehensive knowledge of legal requirements and government regulations, ensuring ongoing compliance.HR Records Maintenance: Oversee HR Information System and payroll records, compile reports from the database, and maintain data accuracy.Recruitment Leadership: Lead recruitment efforts for hourly and supervisor positions within the facility, ensuring a seamless hiring process.Compensation Analysis: Evaluate compensation practices and make recommendations that align with market standards.HR Coaching: Coach management in HR activities, including recruitment, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, and policy adherence.Onboarding & Orientation: Conduct employee orientation and continuously enhance onboarding practices.Employee Recognition: Develop and oversee programs to recognize, reward, and appreciate employees.Team Leadership: Lead a small team of HR professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.Shift Presence: Engage with various shifts to ensure an HR presence throughout the facility.Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or plant environment.HRIS Expertise: Experience with HR Information Systems required; ADP experience preferred.Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.Process Improvement: Proven experience in implementing processes and managing change effectively.Plant Procedures: In-depth knowledge of plant procedures and policies.Certifications: HR Certifications (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) preferred.Recruitment: Strong track record of successful recruitment and talent acquisition.Problem Solving: Skilled in disciplined problem-solving and root-cause analysis.Results-Driven: Experience in implementing HR programs that achieve business results.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
