Are you a leader with a passion for driving supply chain excellence and optimization? Our Client is seeking a Supply Chain Director/Vice President to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing Supply Chain Operations including strategic planning, managing vendor relationships, overseeing procurement, logistics, and inventory management operations to ensure that we are well positioned to meet the needs of our business and our customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Supply Chain leadership, a deep understanding of the ingredient/raw materials market and excellent communication skills.

Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies for our ingredient development and supply business, aligning supply chain activities with the company goals and objectives through close collaboration with Sales/Sales Ops., R&D/Science and FinanceLead and develop the Supply Chain Team, promoting a culture of continuous improvementMaintain and enhance relationships and lead/manage the ongoing engagement with our key supply partners, negotiating pricing and contracts while also keeping the personal relationships strong.Assist COO and CEO to facilitate and support the top-to-top supply partner relationships that are vital to the company’s successOrganize and oversee the manufacturing, including procurement raw materials, for ingredients produced on a contract manufacturing basisDevelop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Supply Chain operations, identifying areas of improvement and implementing necessary SOPsOversee and optimize the procurement process of ingredients, to ensure cost-effective sourcing and development of new supply relationshipsMonitor and optimize inventory levels based on forecasting and market trends to balance cost and availability, identifying and mitigating supply related risksOversee logistics and warehousing operations to ensure streamlined efficiency and on-time deliveryOversee Import related processes and documentation (e.g., ISF filing, Transitory in Bond, Duty Drawback, Import Permits, Vessel Masking, etc.)Prepare and present cogent reports to the Leadership Team and other Stakeholders JobRequirements Required:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on ingredients/raw materialsA proven track record of success in a senior Supply Chain role demonstrating strong leadership and team management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExtroversion, demonstrating strong communication (verbal & written) and relationship building skillsPossess a high level of computer aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systemsStrong organizational and project management skills with attention to detailConscientious and self-motivated with a proactive approachPreferred:Sales or Business Development Experience within the nutritional/dietary supplement industryExperience working with international supply partnersKnowledge of sustainability practices in supply chain managementCompensation: 150,000 + benefitsIf this sounds like the position you have been waiting for, please apply using the online application or the link below - all inquiries are strictly confidential.
