We’re looking for a candidate who is:Passionate and self-motivated, bringing their unique skill set and ideas to the table.Confident and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.Capable of taking on multiple responsibilities with ease.A solution focused impact player that can solve challenges individually and as a team.If you’re looking for an opportunity that fosters the growth and development of all team members and promotes a Passion for life, apply for this position today!ResponsibilitiesAssist with developing recruiting strategies.Assist with schedules to obtain top talent that aligns with the roles.Assist in the interviewing and on-boarding process.Revising and implementing HR policies and procedures to automate and improve the recruiting and on-boarding process.Assisting with developing and implementing volunteer engagement initiatives.Maintain ongoing contact with program participants and monitor their progress towards the completion of program requirements, providing individualized support as needed.QualificationsEducation RequirementMust be currently pursuing a degree in one of the following fields: Human Resources, Business, Nonprofit Management, Psychology, Interdisciplinary Studies, Counseling, Sociology, or human services related fields of studyMust be classified as a Junior or SeniorRequired SkillsDependable, enthusiastic, and must have a go-getter attitude.Detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skillsExcellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc).Excellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHighly organized and able to manage multiple ongoing projectsExcellent time management skillsCommitment to collaborative decision-making and cooperative working relationships with P4L staff and community partnersAdditional informationEstimated time commitment: 9-10 hours/ week depending on needs, includingMonthly meetingsWeekly conference callsBusiest time period: work is consistent throughout the school yearTerm limit: 4-6
