$70,000 - $80,000KPosition Summary:A prestigious Family Law Firm in Pasadena is seeking a seasoned Family Law Legal Secretary to support 2-3 attorneys in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a highly skilled professional with at least 5 years of experience in family law at a reputable firm. The ideal candidate is proactive, efficient, and can work independently with minimal training.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive administrative support to 2-3 attorneys specializing in family lawDraft, proofread, and prepare a variety of family law documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requestsCoordinate and manage the attorneys' calendars, scheduling court dates, client meetings, and other appointmentsHandle e-filing and meet filing deadlines for state and local courts, ensuring compliance with court rules and proceduresPrepare case files for hearings, mediations, and depositions, ensuring all documents are accurate and completeServe as a point of contact for clients, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all timesSupport attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and coordinating logistics as neededPerform various administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, and maintaining organized electronic and hard-copy filesQualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Secretary in family law, with experience in a high-profile or large firm environment strongly preferredStrong knowledge of California family law procedures, court rules, and e-filing requirementsExceptional organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal document management softwareExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with keen attention to detailAbility to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environmentProfessional demeanor, with a high level of discretion and sensitivity to client needsBenefits:Competitive salaryHybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote)Collaborative, supportive team environmentIf you are an experienced Family Law Legal Secretary seeking a role in a prestigious firm with opportunities to make an impact, we invite you to apply.
