**Onsite Location is on the Christ the King Campus in Steele Creek, NC**Position Overview:The Program Specialist will support the development, implementation, and evaluation of our programs. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in program management and learn about the nonprofit sector while contributing to impactful initiatives that align with our mission.Key Responsibilities:Program Support:Assist in the planning and execution of program activities, including scheduling, logistics, and coordination with participants.Help create and distribute program materials, such as brochures, flyers, and online content.Provide support in organizing and facilitating program events, workshops, and meetings.Data Collection and Analysis:Assist with the collection and analysis of program data to assess effectiveness and outcomes.Help maintain and update program databases and tracking systems.Prepare reports and summaries based on data analysis and program evaluations.Participant Engagement:Communicate with program participants and stakeholders to provide information and support.Assist in organizing outreach activities to recruit participants and promote program awareness.Respond to inquiries and provide assistance to participants as needed.Administrative Support:Provide general administrative support to the program team, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.Assist with budgeting and financial tracking related to program expenses.Maintain organized records and documentation for program activities and outcomes.Research and Development:Conduct research on best practices, trends, and developments related to the program’s focus area.Support the development of new program ideas and initiatives based on research and feedback.Assist in drafting proposals and grant applications for program funding.Qualifications:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Nonprofit Management, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or a related field.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with database management.A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to various aspects of program management.Preferred Skills:Previous experience in nonprofit work or program support is a plus.Familiarity with program evaluation methods and tools.Basic knowledge of social media and digital communication tools.Benefits:Practical experience in program management and nonprofit operations.Opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in the nonprofit sector.Networking opportunities and exposure to various aspects of program development.
